About the Site and its History:

The Union Court community is located on the same grounds as local union history was made. As a result of workers at Nash Motors protesting to demand fair wages in 1933, the United Auto Workers and UAW Local 72 was formed in 1935 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Our developers knew that it was important to pay homage to these individuals and the organization that paved the way for workers' rights, while also utilizing the property to its highest potential.
